Nowadays, the cutting method of stainless steel thick plate is mainly based on laser cutting, but in order to achieve high-quality cutting results, you need to master certain process skills.
1.How to choose Nozzle Layer ?
(1)Single layer laser nozzle is used for melting cutting, that is, nitrogen is used as auxiliary gas, so single layer is used for cutting stainless steel and aluminum plates.
(2) Double-layer laser nozzles are generally used for oxidation cutting, that is, oxygen is used as auxiliary gas, so double-layer laser nozzles are used for carbon steel cutting.

2.How to choose Nozzle Aperture ?
As we know, nozzles with different apertures are mainly used for cutting plates of different thicknesses. For thin plates, use smaller nozzles, and for thick plates, use larger nozzles.
The nozzle apertures are: 0.8, 1.0, 1.2, 1.5, 1.8, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0, etc., and the most used ones are: 1.0, 1.2, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, and the most commonly used are 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0.
